Quick Mini Dresser Makeover

I got this mini dresser a few years ago at one of our families annual white elephant gift exchanges during Christmas time.   As adorable as it is, it no longer matches my decor.

So I decided it’s time for a mini makeover!  Yesss!  **air high fives nobody**

I removed all the hardware and carried it outside.   Then I wiped it down with a damp towel.

Never underestimate the power of spray paint. I chose ‘matte pale sage’ for the dresser, and ‘matte black’ for the hardware.

Then I just sprayed the paint steadily back-and-forth.  It’s like an invisible paintbrush!  I needed two coats so I used one and a half cans of the sage.

Next was the hardware. I only needed a few “spritzes” of black.

It took about an hour to dry.

Then I put on new furniture sliders…

And replaced the hardware.

I really like the color – it’s a pale blue/green 🙂

Please overlook the weird trim.  The previous homeowner’s chose to paint it glossy brown.  We’re currently replacing it with matte white trim.

“To each their own”… I guess……….

And there you have it!  A super easy mini makeover makes a world of difference.  The purpose of this post?

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF A $4 CAN OF SPRAY PAINT. 🙂
